Action Engine v1
First version of autoscaling, events and actions in CloudBuilder that lets you choose the server usage parameters, and trigger numerous actions, such as growth of the resources of a server or automatically clone a server.
This function allows a better capacity management, delegating to the ability of CloudBuilder to increase infrastructure performance when resources are needed. When needed, the infrastructure will grow to meet resource needs.
Architecture Templates v1
This first version of Architecture Templates allows automatic deployment of the main architectures within CloudBuilder: monolithic composition (everything on one unique server), semi-distributed (one front and one backend servers) or distributed (load balance between several front servers, backend server and file server).
This makes it much easier and intuitive to deploy a set of servers for a project.
CloudBuilder Permissions
Entirely granular and intuitive tool to manage access to the elements in CloudBuilder. In this section you can configure different roles and grant permissions for each one, so they have the capacity to perform certain actions.
Each user can assume different roles for each element (server, balancer, ...) or for the complete environment. Users with the ability to manage permissions in CloudBuilder can choose the level of granularity (complexity) in the configuration view.
Platforms in CloudBuilder
It is incorporated into the Control Panel in CloudBuilder the ability to build web platforms and databases, managed by Arsys. These platforms have a section in CloudBuilder panel to manage the general configuration of databases or websites hosted on them.
This functionality allows to deployed architectures of front servers and databases so that you only need to deploy the contents inside without worrying about server maintenance, which will form part of CloudBuilder, or the operating system, managed by Arsys.
Apps ready to deploy
In this enhancement we introduce different free and commercial applications, which are automatically deployed when using ready-made architectures templates in CloudBuilder.
Deploy your favorite applications in the cloud: Tools CRM, ERP, collaboration tools, intranets, or any application you need. We bring apps closer to your, just need a few clicks.
Import and Export servers
This feature allows you to easily import and export the most common server image formats, both from the CloudBuilder web interface and its API.
This makes it much easier to move servers to CloudBuilder, with the peace of mind of being able to replicate them on other clouds at any time.
Environments in CloudBuiler
With this enhancement you can distribute CloudBuilder elements into different environments, which can be associated to areas in the company or to specific projects. This way, all the technical and administrative management can be done either by setting different environments as groups or even the whole datacentre.
You can enable communication between environments, or shared networks, so that you can set separate projects in different environments to share elements of a common space (databases, storage, ...) or to share information between them.
More functionality on balancers
More tools incorporating new options in traffic balancing in CloudBuilder.
Among theese tools multiport-balancing options are incluided as well as installation of SSL security certificates at balancing level and other possibilities to control the availability of associated servers.
Improved server creation
The server creation wizard has been renewed to make the configuration and deployment of servers easier. The new model lets you choose between different versions of each Operating System and select the additional software (web services, databases, email, etc.) which will be installed automatically during deployment.
This makes implementing new servers much simpler and much more powerful.
