Firewall protection

The firewall service included protects your Dedicated Server from attacks and unauthorised access. This service leaves the most common ports open while protecting the rest.

If you want to configure your own firewall rules, with our Custom Firewall you can add 10 custom rules and 1 request of change per month, for €30/month.

Urchin statistics

On Arsys, we offer a multi-domain licence for Urchin statistics, which will be installed on your Dedicated Server. You'll get an Urchin administrator account, with which you can:

• Create new profiles and assign them to new or existing domains with different filtering options.
• Create users and groups. Assign permissions to users so they can manage certain profiles.
• Decide how often the data statistics are updated.
• Manage other administrative options such as: web server port, task history...

SQL server

You have two alternatives:

• Purchase a SQL Server licence belonging to Arsys.
• Provide your own edition of SQL Server and the corresponding licence. You can install it yourself or pay one of system administrators to do it.

We currently have licences for the following SQL Server products: The products are scalable, so you can upgrade your product at any time.

SQL Server can only be installed on servers with a Windows Operating System.

We offer one of the best server management control panels, Parallels® Plesk Panel, for VPS, Cloud Servers and Dedicated Servers. Manage your server remotely and with minimum effort:

Malware Control

Protect your Windows server with this service which combines different technologies to protect the systems and files against threats from viruses, spyware, bots, worms, trojans, buffer-overflow attacks (targeted at vulnerabilities in Microsoft applications) and blended attacks.

The service also detects and cleans malware minimising the impact on the server's performance. Our technicians manage the security policies, as well as the alerts generated in a centralised administration console, notifying you of the detected problems if necessary.

You can sign up for this service from your Client Area. Price: €24.90/month

Additional IP addresses

• You'll be able to have a second IP address so you can use your Dedicated Server as a DNS server for free.
• We'll give you an IP address for each SSL security certificate you buy for your server from Arsys.
• If you need an IP address for other justified uses in accordance with the criteria set by Arsys and RIPE (Regional Internet Registry for Europe), you can request one for €5/month.

Remote hands

An Arsys technician can connect to your dedicated server following your instructions and communicating the answers that come up on the screen.

You can contract our technicians from your Control Panel and pay with our remote hands vouchers; the time spent on each task will be deducted from your credit, in minimum units of 15 min. (weekends and public holidays: 30 min.).

System administration

At Arsys, we have a large team of system administrators and web application developers at your service, who specialise in the technologies we offer: Windows, Linux, SQL Server, ASP pages, Perl, Apache, PHP, MySQL, etc.

Their work is billed in increments of 15 minutes at a rate of €60/hour (nights, weekends and public holidays: €90/hour).

Hardware upgrades

Improve your Dedicated Server's hardware. Request the hardware upgrade you need when signing up for the service. For subsequent upgrades, please consult our Sales Department about the terms and conditions.

Additional bandwith

If you choose data transfer limit and exceed the amount included, the extra GigaBytes will be billed at €2/GB (in increments of 1GB). To prevent this from happening, you can increase the data transfer available for your Dedicated Server with the following upgrades:

You´ll be able to chagen from one system to another for free, whenever you need to.

Backup

• You can choose the directories and file types you want to backup.
• The server is backed up at night during periods of minimal activity, so as to not interfere with the normal duties of the Dedicated Server.
• We perform a full weekly backup and daily periodic backups.
• Backups are kept for 30 days. We can't guarantee the availability of backups older than this.
• The service is billed based on the average total size occupied by the full weekly backups made over the month.
• Backup restoration is included in the price. If the backups exceed the space available, you will be billed €7/month for each additional GB.
