EU Data Law
The EU Data Law (in English “Data Act”) allows customers to export their current data, for example, in case they want to change provider. In this article, we offer you an overview of this regulation and a guide to exporting the data from your Arsys products.
Check the legal details about the application of the EU Data Law in our General Conditions of Arsys.
General information
Arsys is committed to open interfaces and standards, which greatly simplifies data export. This way, you can export your data independently. This gives you maximum flexibility in terms of timing and, if necessary, personalized control over output formats or scope. The exported content is available immediately and securely.
Please note that Arsys can only provide very limited support in the process of importing data to the future location. Please review and verify that the import has been carried out correctly before deletion.
Export before product cancellation and data deletion
Once cancellation is carried out, it is no longer possible to export the data for the corresponding product.
Data that has been deleted by you, for example, databases or web page projects, cannot be restored for export unless the product explicitly offers this option.
Warning
As soon as a cancellation has been completed using the usual procedure, the data associated with the product will no longer be available for export.
Usage rights and licenses: export not possible
The usage rights or licenses made available to you as part of an Arsys product cannot be exported.

Check the format in which your exported data will be used in the future and that the import process has been carried out correctly if necessary.
