This document hereby makes Arsys's Policy on the Gathering and Processing of Cookies available to its users and clients, in compliance with that established in Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of the 11th of July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the 27th of April (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of the 5th of December on Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

Users can select which types of cookies they accept or reject using the Cookies Configuration Panel, in accordance with that indicated in this Policy.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small files which are stored on a user's terminal (computer or mobile device) and they gather information when a user visits a website.

HOW DOES ARSYS USE COOKIES?

Cookies are generated when a user visits an Arsys website (https://www.arsys.eshttps://www.arsys.nethttps://www.arsys.pt and https://www.arsys.fr) and they are stored for the following purposes:

  • To enable the browsing of said websites.
  • To improve the usability of the aforementioned websites, adapting them to users' browsing habits and needs.
  • To show advertising related to the browsing behaviour of the website users.
  • To show the client personalised content about Arsys products and services based on their interests, taking into account their browsing behaviour on the Arsys website or their use of our tools and location.
  • To obtain information about numbers of visits and browsing behaviour, for statistical purposes.
  • In terms of users who are Arsys clients, the information gathered using the cookies is also used to allow their identification when they access the various tools Arsys makes available to them for the management of the services they have purchased.

WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES DOES ARSYS USE?

Arsys uses the types of cookies indicated below and they are classified based on the following criteria:

  • Based on the ownership of the cookies:
    • Our own cookies: those sent and managed directly by Arsys.
    • Third party cookies: those sent and managed by a third party outside of Arsys, anonymously.
  • Based on purpose:
    • Technical cookies: those which enable users to browse the pages of the Arsys website and use the tools which Arsys makes available to its clients, allowing said tools to be managed and operated. Examples of this usage are to control data traffic and transfer, to identify the session or to carry out the purchase process of products and services, therefore, in accordance with article 22.2 of the LSSICE, its use does not require the user's consent.
    • Analytical cookies: those which enable Arsys to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users who visit its websites or who use its management tools. Arsys analyses this information to provide improvements for both its websites and its tools, based on the obtained usage data.
    • Advertising cookies: those which store information about users' browsing habits and tendencies in order to manage and personalise the advertising spaces shown whilst they browse.
  • Based on duration:
    • Session cookies: these collect and store data while a user is accessing the Arsys websites or tools and they disappear at the end of the session.
    • Persistent cookies: these collect and store data on the user's terminal for a period of time which varies depending on the purpose for which they will be used.

The time these cookies are kept will depend on their type and this conservation period will always be the minimum required to fulfil the usage purpose.
